Welcome to the UN in Lebanon 2023 Results Report

In 2023, the UN Country Team continued to support Lebanon on its journey to development focusing on four priority areas, namely: people, prosperity, peace and governance, and planet. At the center of the UN's work were the people of Lebanon, including women, youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities, internally displaced people, refugees, and migrants.

2023 was the first year of the implementation of the Cooperation Framework, signed by the UN and the Government. Under this framework, and thanks to the generous support of donors, the UN spent around 885 million USD in 2023 and implemented over 246 initiatives to support the people in Lebanon to cope with the multifaceted crisis.
